If you need a budget video card, check out this review of the XFX R7 250E at Overclockers Club today.

When you go to play in the wheel house it fits in, you can get performance up and over the commonly recognized 30 FPS threshold for playable performance at 1920x1080, or even higher at 1680x1050. When you get down to its DNA, this card has its roots in the 2012 release of AMD's Cape Verde Pro GCN architecture and is comparable to the HD 7750 seen at that time.

with the 7850 selling at sub 70 USD sellout prices in my area, I doubt I'll get the 250E

I just can't bring myself to buy a card with a 128bit bus. why? it will become outdated too quickly.

keep in mind, bus size is not necessarily important, the new GTX 980 that all the nvidiots are creaming their pants about, actually has a 256 bit bus down from the 384 in the 780 ti.

in other words, size doesn't matter, its how you use it...i wish that's what she said

and that its with a 50% better color and texture compression over Kepler 780TI... and sadly or not, the 980 its a midrange chip launched as a high-end card in the market.. the big boy maxwell its still capable of 20-22 SMM's and 384bit so.. 2560-2816 CUDA cores at 384.. that probably could be a 980TI or Titan II.. :p..

this card its just another pre 2013 outdated rebranded AMD card...

I heard these cards weren't really worth it. Anything lower than the 270 performed really poorly when it came to games. The r9 270 is too cheap to pass up as well.
