XFX 5870 awful noise (audio inside)

In menus I get about a 1000 fps. I wish I could get that constant in crysis at 1920x1200 4xaa / 16xaf Enthusiast Settings.

As others have indicated cards making some level of noise is common, but that level of noise is definitely out of the ordinary.
