XFX 5670 Fan and Heat

I've installed the XFX 5670 and its most recent drivers. I've also registered the card for the warranty. ATI Catalyst Control shows base temperatures at 51o Celsius and all my games run at 59o Celsius.

Some Questions:
1) What's normal temperatures for the card when running base Windows and running games?

2) Any harm increasing the fan speed using the manual fan control?

temps look right where they should be. unless the fan's annoyingly loud when gaming i'd just leave it on auto. the card its self can handle upwards of 100C some where in the range of 120-130C max so the temps are fine.

You're fine on the fan speed manually, there's no reason why that would cause physical harm.

Temps seem exactly like the one I just installed in my sister's pc. Those would be good and normal temps.
