Xeon E5 2630 v3, unlocked?

Are these unlocked? I've been hearing the v3 chips are unlocked.

AFIK the only way to "OC" this Xeon is through BLCK, if your motherboard supports it...

I believe E5-1XXX xeons can overclock through multiplier overclocking with all other modern xeons locked.

The article linked showed a 104 MHz BCLK was the highest stable overclock of the 100 MHz BCLK for the E5-2687 v3 on an ASUSX99 Delux so don't expect much.

My computer won't post at 105 BCLK, but it works perfectly at 125. If I go too far away from the strap (under or over) it won't boot. That might have been what happened in their case too.
