Just finished the first Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii)... was pretty satisfying overall... this one just doesn't look very interesting graphically, but if the characters and story are better than the first than I might give it a go... have you tried it?

I'm sorry, but until the localization teams working for Nintendo stop treating their western and US audiences like children I cannot support anything they put out. I was *this* close on finally pulling the trigger on a Wii U, too.

This is one of the more interesting reviews I've done as of late because I know Xenoblade Chronicles X will be divisive. But it truly feels like an MMO world I've been living in for several weeks now. The more grimdark theme isn't quite as charming as the original Xenoblade, but everything else makes up for it. 9/10

Sounds exactly what I was expecting which is fine with me. I just got my boys a Wii U for Christmas too. Daddy might need to pick up a little something for himself now.

Bought a Wii U on the cheap for this game a few months back. Amazon wont be shipping my SE copy until the 4th and then I get to wait until the 10th to receive it. Oh well....I've already waited this long.

Can't believe this thread doesn't have more discussion in it.

This game is incredible. I'm enjoying it far more then other AAA RPG's that came out in 2015.

The only part that sucks is how long it takes to install the data packs. Christ. It took 2 hours to download because Nintendo's servers are just slow, and another hour to install because of how slow the wiiu is when it comes to doing installs.

With the data packs installed the disc version of the game loads quite fast between fast traveling and has little to no texture pop. It's amazing how good this game runs / looks considering the crap hardware of the wiiu.

Enjoyed/continue to enjoy the hell out of this game. Needs a sequel or DLC to wrap up a handful of things though.
