Xbox One games with gold available now

I downloaded Halo, but haven't grabbed Max: The Curse of Brotherhood yet.

Will download both because screw it I am paying xbox live so I might as well. But I will have to wait until friday when my cable gets hooked up and I can update my console :(

Oh wow, now I have a reason to use that external storage support. :) The one thing I like about this is that once you purchased these games, they are yours for good. Unless I misunderstood or something changed, PS+ free games are only good as long as you keep you account active, right? (If so, perhaps Microsoft doing this will motivate Sony to do the same.)

The rules are this

Xbox 360 free games your to keep forever even if gold expires

Xbox one same as PS+ gold required to keep games

They have done this in order to provide future games on Xbox one of higher caliber much like ps+ does.

I think that is the better approach long term. Personally I want more good games instead of free mediocre games I could keep forever. PS+ has done me extremely well over the last few years:

If XBox One starts getting excellent free games, I will pickup a One and just play the free Games with Gold content on it. And Halo, I love me some Halo...

Just remember they have changed the way ps+ games are going to release now and how long they stay.

My plan with either of these setups is to "purchase" everything and then just cancel the download (unless I really want the game right then). Then if I want the game later, I can go grab it without worrying about it still being available.

I've now done this with damn near every Vita game, and I don't even own a Vita :)

Just log onto the sony website and confirm purchases, no need to download on your console.. and much quicker!

Snagged both and installed last night. I now have something to do after I get done with Watch Dogs.
