Xbox One controller question

Can someone tell me if the Xbox One controller works with the Wireless Gaming Receiver on Windows out of the box? I haven't been able to find anything via Google about it... Thanks in advance!

Everything I've read says Microsoft wont be adding support until 2014.

It probably won't be backwards compatible with that adapter. They will probably release a new one though and hopefully they don't bundle it with a controller. In the mean time when they do add the pc drivers for the controller it will work through USB.

I can try later tonight (2-4am CST) and report back.
