Xbox "Next" or "Infinity" reveal thread. Today is the big day!

I found that amusing as well. Especially since they buried the indie game section and I see more ads for TV shows I don't watch than content for actual games I play...

Not only that, but what are they showing right now? Two minutes after this jackass says that?

Price is Right, Internet Explorer, Star Trek.

Sure, it's called the Ps4 (if you have to own a console).

Sony looks like they're the only "game company" in the "game company business" anymore.
(Sorry, I'm not counting Nintendo.)

I wonder how many people they planted in the audience? You always hear the same amount of people wooting every time he farts.

I cut the feed. I'm not wasting my time on this shit.

They took everything wrong about the 360, and have now made a new console dedicated and designed to all that shit.

Take my money? Nah.

Sony has said that all the "share" stuff on the Ps4 is optional. Always on? No. Block used games? No. Online play? Free.

Microsoft hasn't even gotten far enough to disprove the rumors and I'm already done with them. 0 interest.

Yeah... wouldn't have called that. Doesn't seem like a good name.

However, the system shots I really dig. I've always hated how consoles try to look "futuristic"... this looks like an AV Receiver or something... it looks like it belongs under your TV. Well done for that.

Except many of us don't put it under our tv's, some of us put it on our desk, to the sides of our tv's, etc.

Being able to have it sit upwards instead of "flat" was a great design and gave it an elegant/nice look, which this system completely ditches.

So are all of the cable companies going to acknowledge that the Xbox One is a cable box and not require people to rent a cable box and DVR? HAHAHA NO. You pay rental fees for all of your cable box AND pay for a Live Gold account.

I understand that it's not ideal for everyone. But I like it ;)

Looks like same specs as PS4, but I find it worrying they haven't shown any games yet and decided to focus on TV stuff.

They haven't said anything about it not being able to sit vertical...

Looks like it's what a lot of folks here predicted: more focused on the "whole package" of entertainment, rather than pure game focus.

Today is probably more about the hardware, and E3 will be more about the games. Although I expect some sneak-peaks when this hardware talk is all over.

It's all really impressive... i guess, i already have a windows 8 tablet which does 99% of this for me.

Nintendo, while lacking many of these features still fits my lifestyle better, as i don't have time to game as much anymore. I'd never use these features, the TV browsing however was impressive, but nothing new.

For a company that "loves games" they sure have a funny way of showing it.

I'm waiting for Honda to come out and say "At Honda, we love kittens."

Oh boy, a "special partnership" between Microsoft and EA (Sports)...

Totally makes me want to buy an Xbox One... :p

I can't stand the stream anymore. Just shut it down. EA douche put me over the edge for real.

Whew! I feel better. Based on this I think the PS4 should be great!

Those graphics suck. Looked too bright, flat, and washed out but maybe that's just the stream.

It amuses me when they show all the tiny details on cars in racing games...stuff you will never, ever see, like the grain of the carbon fiber or the individual paint flecks...looks cool as a tech demo but how are you ever going to actually see it in-game while playing?

Heh, I'm having flashbacks to how awesome Alan Wake was supposed to be until MS made it a 360 exclusive.
