I would like to hook up my PC to the HDTV in my basement. I plan on getting a 35ft Displayport to HDMI cable.

I also plan on buying a 32ft USB extension cable for the Xbox 360 controller. Will the controller work with the extension cable?

I think the original 360 controller needs to be the wired version to work when plugged in. If it is, then any extension cable should work. If it is not the wired controller then it will only connect via the wireless dongle.
