Hey,
I have an IBM X31 and I want to put Ubuntu on it. I have an external enclosure (USB2.0) and a cdrom drive lying around. I also have a network setup. I've heard that you can use the network but for Hoary it's very difficult. Is there a way to use my external enclosure? But I'll need drivers, makes sense.
Is there a walkthrough on the 'net for doing a network install? I've googled but I got "omg this is so hard, not for the linux newbie" which I am..
