**EDIT2** I just got off the phone with newegg and I am going to return my x1650pro for a refund instead. I would still be interested in a pci-e nvidia graphics card for my linux desktop (currently using pci video). If you are interested in any of my hardware listed below, maybe we can do a trade, thanks, Zack

Broken ATI9800xt with arctic cooler attached (not sure why someone would want but listed incase)

poor/no heat means you have to ship first
I would consider shipping first on good heat / cross-shipping

I have an Nvidia 5900... it's equal to or better than a 6600gt AGP
 
bump, anyone?

What performs better, this or 7600gs? I see one on newegg for $86 that I am really tempted to buy. If this performs better than 7600gs, I would definitely trade to someone out there with one. I need NVIDIA for linuxMCE. Also, I am not interested in video card, unless it can output component video.

I saw 30 day return period so I sent an email to newegg begging them to let me return it for 7600GS. I will have to see. I thought I liked Vista but I was having to many stability issues with my setup, think it was combination of Video Card and TV Tuner

Vista 32 bit ultimate (upgraded when 9800xt burned out)
ASUS A8V Deluxe
939 3500+ A64
1 gig corsair xms
1 ATI HDTV Wonder PCI (problem causer)
1 Hauppage PVR 150
1 X1650pro (New, may be problem causer, not sure)

i have a 512mb pc3200 stick, and the card does component, s-video, composite all via dongle
does ur ati card have component out?

me again, its a 6200, as stated before, agp: vga, dvi, component, composite, s-video
this nvidia card wasnt happy with my vista mce setup so its gonna be up for sale, bnib, and like i said, i have 1 stick of 512mb ddr400 pc3200 that i might be willing to trade towards ur card, it all depends on whether or not the 9800 pro that im currently testing works out or not, it'll take me like a day to figure that out
 
bump, and I can probably get that card out to you for $6. I will let you know via pm, when I am getting close to planning a post office trip
