As someone who has an I7-6700K at 4.5ghz (Z170mobo and 16gb ram), and about to delid to push it further, this is a great processor. I have a radeon 5700xt and i can get 1440@100+ easy. My noctua NH-D15, simliar to OPs, is quiet even under full load. Very happy with all the parts listed for sale.

Thanks for the vouch, I think it's still a great processor for most gaming purposes. I'm only moving onto something new since my use case has changed in the past few months and I need something different but the 6700k is still a very capable processor for most games.
 
After delidding my 6700K with TG Conducto, my temps during game full from 70s to 50s. Fan curve was then adjusted a little and now its amazingly silent. This is an amazing CPU what is wrong with you people
