Once again I've managed to piss people off. This time it was about me trying to make people feel sorry for me because I'm a military veteran.

That person was 100% right for calling me out on it. I'm proud of my military service, don't get me wrong. And I did see some horrible things.

Many, many, many more saw much worse. And they're dealing with, as best they can, every day.

But I'm home now, and all my arms and legs work. I'll forever be changed, sure, but I have no right to use my service record to beg for computer parts.


I feel dirty for using my vet status like I did.
