You may also want to expand your search a bit to the i7-2600k/2700k. They are less than 5% difference in performance compared to the i7-3770k, which can easily be made up with a light overclock.

Ebay has a i7-2600k for $70. 3770k parts are going for at minimum $120 for barely any performance difference.

I have a 3770k with a maximus v formula. It's been sitting with a pile of other old parts taking up space since 2016. It's yours if you take both and pay for shipping. It was pulled working so I assume it still works. I have no idea where I put all the ddr3 to be able to properly test it.
