My really old laptop's hard drive finally bit the dust. It's a 4GB hard drive, but really anything 1 GB or bigger will be fine. Anyone still have an old working 2.5" drive around?
And it has this conenctor on the end that pops off and has what looks like typical IDE drive pins (sorry, not too familiar with old IDE laptop drives):
I have an IBM DADA-26480 6.4-GB, 2.5-Inch IDE Hard-Disk Drive from a working A31 pull. Let me know if you need it. I don't know about that connection type in your pics but it looks like the regular, but fatter IDE hookup.
I don't have much to spend on this. It's just for my parents to check their e-mail and news in the hotel while staying with a family member at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL...
