WTB: Low-range gaming desktop on the cheap

Looking to get a low to mid-range gaming desktop (ideally a complete system) for as little as possible for my brother; he currently plays on an old laptop, so anything dedicated will likely be better than what he has now. I currently have an old Phenom 2 X4 965 and mobo sitting around so curious if I could get something better than that.

Looking to spend ~$100-300ish. Shipping to 04401.

If a phenom x4 is an upgrade for him, then a Dell off-lease system will be a monster upgrade.
 
I will have a delidded 3770k combo after xmas if youre interested. Not sure if youre in a hurry or not. GL
