M2 SSD, at least ~500gb
2x16gb ddr3 sodimm
2tb 2.5” hdd
I have some 2x8gb any specific speed or brand needed? need to be DDR3 or DDR3L ok?
It's for an HP G1 800 DM
DDR3-SDRAM SODIMMs For proper system operation, the SODIMMs must be:
● industry-standard 204-pin
● unbuffered non-ECC PC3-12800 DDR3-1600 MHz-compliant
● 1.5 volt DDR3-SDRAM SODIMMs The DDR3-SDRAM SODIMMs must also:
● support CAS latency 11 DDR3 1600 MHz (11-11-11 timing)
added M2 ssd
not sure if you're still looking on the 8gb ram, I completely forgot
I have 2x 8GB micron MT16JTF1G64HZ-1G6D1 and 4x 8gb sk hyinx HMT41GS6MFR8C-PB
Which both check all your boxes, 204 pin, DDR3 non-ecc pc 12800s, 1.5v, and CL11 .
PM me if interested and I'll send ya pictures and test them with memtest.
Thanks but got a set of 2x8 already.
okie dokie, GL! those 16g sticks are pricey
Keep an eye out for any 2TB drives here that catch your fancy as most of them will drop to 50% of the normal price ime. And the ones I've bought have generally been either open box or binb:
Thanks for the heads up, but I need 2.5"
I've seen a couple pop up on newegg but didn't grab one in time now they are OOS.
Lots of 2.5" in there like this one:
I’m selling a 512GB SSD M.2
thanks, I’ll keep an eye out
I usually pick up enterprise 3.5" 2TB for between $35-$45 to give you an idea.
I also forgot about this one, which is 4TB vs 2TB for the same price. This is probably as low as this one will get since it's around the $35/2TB mark:
Man their shipping rates are terrible. Over $20 for a single 2.5" drive? I think i'll stick to here and see if I can scrounge up something, if not i'll manage with the 1tb I have now.
Yep, it's pretty much $20 on anything (which is nice for bigger orders). Although if you have a UPS or Fedex account, they can just use your account and your rates. You can also pickup for free at their will call in Vernon Hills, IL north of Chicago if you're local.
