I am looking to buy a new or maybe slightly used Oculus Rift CV1 with Lucky's Tale and Eve Valkyrie for $750 shipped. I'm looking for one that someone currently has in hand.

I would suggest checking ebay if you want to get an in-hand unit shipped quickly. I'll warn you now though, "in hand" units that are shipping out, are going for around $1500 - $1700

Lots of price gouging I'm sure - but that's what happens when supply is limited and people want them bad enough.

Yeah. Gotta love people buying something new like that with the sole reason of gouging someone else. Dick move. Hopefully someone that bought one with the actual intent of trying it out and doesn't end up liking it will pass it to you for a reasonable price.
