I am in the market for a gaming laptop - I have one in mind that is a refurb for 1200 - slim, 1070 and gsync screen.

This is what I am looking to get
logos_114.pngASUS ROG Zephyrus M GM501GS-US74 15.6" Gaming Laptop Computer Refurbished - BlackIntel Core i7-8750H Processor 2.2GHz; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5; 16GB DDR4-2666 RAM; 1TB FireCuda Hybrid Drive+256 SSD right now 1129.

Anyone selling anything close to that?

I should mention I have a gaming laptop now but it is a 17 inch with a 1060 - looking to upgrade.

What are the specs of your current laptop? Is it possible to just upgrade the GPU in your current laptop?

Yeah, the one I am thinking of selling is close minus the 1070, mine has a 1060m, 32GB DDR4-2666 (2x 16GB), 1TB Inland NVME+1TB 7200 Barricuda drive, 15.6" 144hz 1080p, i7-8750H as well. Overpowered OP-LP2.

Haven't decided on a price yet, but if interested, let me know.

I have a Blade 15 w/ 8750H, GTX 1070mQ, 144Hz screen. $1200 shipped TYD.

What I have is a OP 17 inch 1920x1080 144hz ips - 16 gb ram, 512 nvme and 1 tb hdd - gtx 1060 - mechanical kb.

You might be able to just upgrade the video card. It might have an MXM3.0 type video card. Has anybody done a teardown of one of these?

Looking at prices though for the MXM cards though and they seem quite expensive.

Is going from a 1060 to a 1070 going to tide you over for quite a while? If not, I would look for something better.

Just FYI, I bought 3 refurbished Zephyrus with the exact specs you listed from Amazon. All 3 came with a flaw of some kind. First had cracked hinges (common on this very thin laptop) Second hadn't been properly reassembled and the keys were below the keyboard deck. Last one came w/o a box and reeked of smoke and had an aftermarket charger.

I gave up and bought a Helios 300 and have been perfectly happy with it.

Just sharing my experience, I hope whatever you get is awesome.

it is not so much the specs as the size - I have to have a work laptop when I travel so I am trying to reduce what I carry - the 17 inch is fine performance wise just need something smaller. figured if I was going to spend the money probably worth a graphic card upgrade.
