WTB: ASUS Xonar ESSENCE STX II

preferably with the daughterboard.

need it to further test my ASUS Xonar driver for MAC (that's not a typo. i managed to port the alsa code lol).

would appreciate a good deal instead of a gouge.

we can lock this.

got one pretty much brand new in a beat up box with the daughterboard and everything else for 170 USD.

a little high considering it's an "old card", but specs remain class-leading.

i now have TWO HDAV1.3 Deluxes and an STX II, all with H6s.

i remember being disappointed with this card at the time of purchase, not due to drivers (which were premature at the start, but now i still use the ones that came in late 08--14 years later--without issue), but because there was no front bay like an audigy 2 (which i also have somewhere).

i think they made the right choice tbh.

i hope i can really make the hdmi 1.3 input port on the hdav useful in the future, we'll see.

amazing cards. i bet my HD650s are going to sound totally different with an STX II instead of this front panel jack i've been using.
