Greetings:

I just bought a new SSD thinking my mobo had SATA3 on it -- and it doesn't! Would love to get a Asus P7P55D with Sata3, or something similar. Looking for a good deal.

I would also consider a SATA3 add-in card, though I would prefer the motherboard so it doesn't increase my boot times.

I have cash and the following items available to trade:

HD HomeRun
4GB Ripjaws DDR3
Biostar T55B HD 1156 Motherboard
Windows Vista Ultimate from Microsoft Tech Show

I would even be willing to part with my current motherboard - Asus P7P55 (no Sata3!!) - if I go the motherboard route.

Not really interested in any combo deals, but I would consider a good deal on a motherboard/processor combo that was better than my i5 661 (Clarksdale).

Thanks for looking!

bump; still looking for a motherboard or a sata3 card....

Thanks for looking.

Not sure what SSD you bought but very few home grade SSD's can saturate a Sata II link.

I use the ASUS U3S6 PCIE card.. it has both SATA and USB3.0 on it. It doesn't increase boot times, maybe by 1 or 2 seconds, but that's it.. been using it for a while now. You can get them for about $40 online..
