Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 released a few days ago for people on the insider fast track. Anyone else tried it yet? It's awesome to have an actual kernel, although it's 4.19
I have ubuntu on my laptop installed on wsl 2 I converted and it works pretty good, although they broke x11 forwarding somehow, so no gui.
I don't believe its going to be good enough for me to replace my debian install, so still going to be stuck with linux on the desktop and windows on the laptop. The further I go into developer world, the more I hate trying to code on windows. Would be nice if this got to the point where I could have both $homes under one roof though.
