WRT54G/ WRT54GS problems resolved with new beta firmware

For those of you have the high throughput disconnects when tranfering from pc to pc with these modems, go to:

Go to page 19 and you'll see where the new beta firmware for the routers has basically fixed the problems for almost everyone. Post the results if it fixed it, that way linksys can get the final version out.

Thanks for the heads up, trying it now.

Edit: When streaming a video from my main machine to a laptop it seems to drop the connection after 14 mins or so, now at 4 mins and counting....

It is, and it totally has fixed my problems. They say that the bits basically don't match during transfer, so they have "overclocked" the cpu in the router to make the bits match. Thats the jist of what I get anyway.

I haven't tried it yet, my problem was weird and seemingly random wireless dropouts. What I had to do is change the channel to get it back.

Did this fix a similar problem with anyone else?
Also did anyone try the file (WRT45G_killer.zip) Well really the text files in it? It was said that these files would cause the error when transfered between wired and wireless. I couldn't get it to cause a problem. did anyone have a problem transfering thes files then the firmware fixed it?
