WPA2 Wireless Connection Dropping

I have a linksys SRX wireless PCMCIA card for my laptop and it worked great with my D-Link DGL4300 when I was using WEP encryption. (not the most secure I know) I finally decided to use WPA2 and I am able to get a connection and browse the internet. However I am now constantly losing the connection and then reconnecting fine. I am in the same room as the router so signal strength is not the issue. Is this a problem with WPA or am I just experiencing an un repeatable problem?

Try updating:
*Firmware on the router
*Drivers for your wireless NIC

Try a different channel on the wireless router, go into web admin, usually around wireless settings you'll see the channels..sometimes set to Auto..try setting it to 1 or 11.
