[WP7] Root certificate management for Stock ROMs

Heathcliff75 has just released WP7 Root Tools 0.9, which allows users control over root certificates on stock Windows Phone 7 ROMs. You can hand out full root access on an app-by-app basis for homebrew applications that need it.

Before this was released, the only way to get root access on WP7 was to flash a custom ROM with the certificate manager disabled entirely, which caused all applications to run as root. Not very secure, and it required people re-flash their phones.

WP7 Root Tools 0.9 works on the following types of handsets:
- Samsung 1st generation devices
- Samsung 2nd generation devices
- LG devices
- HTC first generation devices (SPL 4.x or lower)

You will need to have Developer-Unlocked and Interop-Unlocked your stock ROM in order for WP7 Root Tools 0.9 to work its magic. Here's how you accomplish that:

Once you have the unlocks set up, swing on over to this thread on XDA Developers and give the latest version of Root Tools a shot. I can confirm that it works beautifully, I'm using Folders and LockWidgets on my stock ROM after granting them root privs
