Wow RTX 2070 FE being released 599.99

NVIDIA's own fake performance metric "gigarays" showed the 2070 is supposedly 20% slower at ray tracing than the 2080 and 40% slower than the 2080 Ti.

"Giga rays" is a real ray tracing measuring metric.

I cannot believe they are selling these for 599.99 when on Aug 20th they said 499.99

Really thinking about ditching Nvidia but got these dam Gsync monitors, a monopoly at its finest

Just get 2080Ti and you won't need that Gsync monitor. Just sell it

They'll just release a real next gen card on a new node when competition supposedly arrives in 2019.

Next gen card? That's debatable.
We don't know how widespread DSS and RT will be. It might as well turn into PhysX.

Isn't the founders edition about $50-100 more than the standard one from other manufacturers? I hope so.

The 2080ti and 2080 launch are proving that assumption to no longer be the case. The "partner cards will have lower MSRP" is a mealy mouthed lie. Nvidia isn't leaving any money on the table, why should they?

You can find a new 1080ti for $600 (let alone used market) and a lot of the RTX stuff will not run at decent frames on a 2070, nvidia is on crack.
