I played the AH for 12 years. I played daily for about ten years. Twice a day I'd run the scanner and buy low, sell high. To this day, I have never, ever, ever equipped a BOE. Never. It gets sharded or tossed on the AH.

I play the content and usually get bored after several months. So WoD for example I played for about five months, went into black rock foundry once and never did any of the content after that. Got one character to 100, had a few alts at 90-92, other alts were much lower. I think if I added up the gold on all my toons I had around 100k. I also wouldn't sell mats, I'd make stuff for the guild and just donate to the bank.

I'm still waiting for people in the guild to be able to make those items for the quest. Shit's expensive on the AH.
That's because people know you need it, so the price got jacked. Either level some alts or see if you cant trade for some of it, I don't see the prices coming down for awhile.

Excellent plan, I saw a dude in trade trying to sell the demonsteel stuff for like 9k, that's just insane.

have seen them on the AH for 20K on cenarius, I can make the plate and am close on being able to make the leather and mail on an alt.

I'd take them at 9k. I'm seeing 40-90K EACH on my server.
5-15k on my server for the quest items. I spent about 25k total for all four items....it hurt spending that much for a quest but I have already made it back selling the obliterum.
It sells for 7k-12k on my server, sold my last few for 8k, and that was after someone undercut me by 1k and posted 7 sales. The ones for 12k haven't moved yet but people are buying.

Does anyone know of a way to get 7-10 days free? I haven't placed in 7 years, have a few lvl 80s waiting for me. I'm thinking of getting back in but not certain.

Bliz used to have a scroll of resurrection which is no more.
As i understand, you have only a few options now
1) pay
2) use your in-game gold to buy a month of WOW
3) start all over with a free account that lets you go from 1-20
Hopefully I did not missing anything.

Absolutely not. Im a hardcore PVPer and I havent thoughtabout even entering a BG/arena. Blizzard has truly created a masterpiece with this expansion. Every aspect is great. I hated WoD and really disliked MoP. They really turned things around with this expansion.
edit: i should clarify why im not PVPing... The PVE content is just amazing, between the grand story, the Order hall (which I LOVE how they implemented it, Its not a garrison... Plus you have a mobile app to manage it while your not gaming or away) Im so focused on increasing my Ilvl to tackle mythic and mythic+.
IMO easily the best WoW has been in a very long time, *for now*. It's hard to say what anyone will think of all this in six months.

pretty much, Blizzard customer service is beyond amazing. My buddy asked for game time when the movie came out. they gave him 10 days or something.

Also the cinematic and audio team is just straight amazing. There was 1 cinematic where I was almost in tears... my wife was actually crying

I did the same when WoD came out. I emailed Customer Support asking if I could have a trial period before deciding whether to buy the expansion (I'd been unsubbed for several years) and they gave me one (3+ days, can't remember exactly) without questioning it.

I did decide to buy it and try it out.....Holy shit this expansion makes MOP and WOD look like a patch imo....Wow the story is just great. I am only level 104, and I just now started my second area.
I also LOVE the fact that they let you choose which area you want to go next. Instead of following the same path like everyone else NICE touch. But the downside to that is all mobs now scale with level. But I can live with that. I LOVE the fact I get to choose where I want to go next....LOVE It.
Artifact weapons....NICE touch...God so much to do.
P.S. Kiljaiden (spelling) is a Son of a Bitch. All I will say!

A few months ago, I got a 7 day trial and logged into my main for the first time in over 5 years. Played some of the MoP zones and gained a couple levels before the week ended. It was quite a bizarre experience, both a nostalgia trip and a "feels like it was just yesterday" moment. The way you guys are hyping this expac makes me want to return, but my ever-declining interest in gaming restrains me. Glad to hear you guys are enjoying it.

I've been goofing around with Legion, haven't played since WoTLK. Got my prot pally up to 842 ilvl just goofing off, still haven't even done a heroic I play solo though since everyone I used to play with left long, long ago.

I've done 8/11 Suramar questlines and every world quest available and gotten all of the ley lines and portals and I'm still 4000 rep away from unlocking the dungeons and the remaining questlines and Mythics. I have absolutely no idea how people unlocked all of that a week ago. I'm probably missing some repeatable thing or some way to trade items for rep.
How do I loot the World Boss Oondasta in Pandaria zone Isle of Giants ?
I went there with my Demon Hunter Level 104, and I can solo the big beast, just takes awhile, but each time I killed her, there was never any loot available ? And yes the enemy portrait was red, and one time I was the only player in the area killing her, and all three different times, never loot available, she just dies drops, and nothing to loot.

The withered army training WQ, even if you do poorly is a few hundred rep each time.
I've been doing that, it only shows up every three days I think.
