Short of going to pci-e
is there any upgrades that would be worth it for this system

Soltek NF3 754 MOBO with AMD 2800+ (clawhammer)
2 GIG of Crucial DDR400
C drive 160 WD PATA drive
Promise Fastrak 100 TX2 Raid 1 250 gid (2 WD 250) mirrored ( for MP3 and Divx)
Leadtek 7800GS AGP
LG 16X DVD burner
onboard sound and Ethernet
Antec true 480 (old Style)
WIN XP Pro with SP2
 
Grab a 3700+ cpu and marvel at the improvement.

or grab an Audugy 2 ZS and marvel at the improvement, depending on your speakers/cans.
 
Processor, soundcard, better NIC or the only improvements I would recommend. But that depends on what you are going to use it for. Or just save and upgrade when prices on CPU drop...
 
short of going pci-e? I suppose it'd be jumping to a 3700+; it's the only part of your system that seems to be unbalanced.
 
I'd go with a sound card too. If you don't mind the extra work, pull out the 754, the NF3, and get rid of the AGP card to upgrade to an AM2 or 939 and PCIe. Hehe. That's a pretty big overhaul, if I do say so myself. But you wouldn't spend much if you sold the components you had and got new ones.
