I have a older iPad still on iOS 9.0.2 is it worth to jailbreak still ?

What are some great iOS Jailbreak apps ?

Also what is the best source to use for jailbreak apps ?

People still jailbreak? Woah.

Frankly most people don't bother. It's not worth the hassle. The 'increase in customization' generally isn't worth being stuck on an older OS, any problem with instability, or the hassle of upgrading and needing to do restores.

If you absolutely must tweak everything (for no reason that I personally can fathom) just move to Android. If you're stuck on iOS, I guess go for it.

I love jailbreaking. It isn't a hassle and I don't have any instability only a solid OS with better app support than android. Check out /r/jailbreak

I can't remember when was the last time that I jail broke my iPhones. Probably the reason why they've been problem free the whole time.

If you jailbreak you open your phone to third party code and attacks. This is a horrible idea IMO. Your phone is pretty much equivalent to a credit card - a malicious software can induce heavy charges on your bill or even hack your bank account with a man in the middle attack if you're foolish enough to use some mobile bank app.

Your phone is already vulnerable even if you aren't jailbroken to man in the middle attacks such as the ACEDeceiver malware. This is the same ridiculous argument about using Windows computers. You just have to be careful.

No, your chances of being attacked rise exponentially if you jailbreak. It's really a bad idea. About as bad as using Windows to surf porn.

You don't randomly get attacked it only arises if you don't change root password or add pirate repos. All other malware that is iOS related has targetted jailbroken and non-jailbroken phones alike. Often cases the patch for jailbroken phones is faster than what Apple puts out.

Whats the point to jailbreak if you don't aim to pirate or install unsecure third party software? I wouldn't do it.

Ok. Also I still only see you spreading FUD about it just because it is 3rd party doesn't mean it is unsecure. Do you not install any 3rd party apps on Mac or Windows? I don't pirate. I tweak iOS to fit my needs. If Android had better app support and OS update support I would be interested, but until then jailbreak is the best way for me.

Well anything not passed through the apple store validation is inherently insecure. Nobody has checked it. If it's free, what is the creators motivation for distributing it?

Your phone enables an attacker to place calls to paid numbers or to eavesdrop your traffic. That's a pretty hefty risk for being able to 'mod' the phone that doesn't need modding IMO.

I don't install 3rd party (non commercial) apps on my Mac and download software only through Steam/Origin on the PC if you wanted to know :D

Not really worth it. If you really want to customize and hack that much, get an Android Nexus device and hack all you want.

I only jailbreak for the random little tweaks that apple is behind on adding. for example recently they added night shift but ive been using f.lux for over a year.
