I've got a Q6600 and an E6700 that I'm finally going to get Folding when I get my quarterly bonus. I know the Q6600 would be a damn good overclocker, the E6700 not so much.
I have a spare Black Ice Extreme 120x3 radiator just sitting around doing nothing. Think it would be worth the trouble to water cool? I'm eventually going to put them, along with another quad box into 2U cases. That pretty much rules out big air coolers. I don't have a whole lot of space and due to the house cat population I don't want to run them naked either.
I'm thinking that at the end of the day, I should just overclock them as much as I can with the stock cooler and use a Delta 80x25mm fan to suck excess heat out the back of the case. Save the money I would have spent water cooling the boxen to build another quad box.
