Worst Game You Ever Played ?

Rise of the Machines; PC
Game Boy: Navy Seals
NES; Mortal Combat///Green blood WTF?
N64: Superman
Tunnel Rats or Sewer Rats;Sega Saturn
DreamCast; What was the bass fishing game? Worst game on that system
Xbox: ?
360: Some hunting game and or Pefect Dark 0// Couldnt get into that one
PS3: PS3

I have many more but I need to be reminded of them...

In recent memory, Rogue Warrior. I'd love to go with the popular opinion and say ET or Superman 64 or even the NES Superman game. Those games were all very, very bad, yet I can't say I look back on my childhood and hate saying I've played those games. They all helped me to define what I do and don't like about games and help me figure out my gaming taste. Rogue Warrior on the the other hand, well Rebellion and Bethesda owe me 2 hours of my life back. Either that or Rebellion owes me a game called AvP that will make up for every single crap game they have made since their original masterpiece.

Worse game...for me I should probably say worse letdown...Far Cry 2. Although, UT3 is a very close second.

The only upside is, they both make good coasters.

LC

I agree with Perfect Dark Zero, waste of money for me at launch and poor character models.

The worst overall was Forsaken for Playstation.

UT3 demo/launch

Seriously killed the UT franchise for me. Sure it isn't the worse i've ever played, but it had the biggest negative impact on a series of any game for me, and I put 1500 hours in ut2004

the problem with all Modern games now is that the single player games are Way 2 short because i feel they are worrying more about Graphics then the story. when yo u can beat a game in 5-8 hours for the price you pay its basicly a waste of money.

i cant think of the worst game ive ever played because ALOT of games are terrible

The problem with terrible games such as Superman for the NES is when you're a kid you dont understand they are bad. If game mechanics are broke or the game has no ending a lot of times you just didnt understand what was going on. You assumed if you went into the phone booth 100 times maybe something cool would happen. As an adult it is so much easier to see if a game is shit within the first 3 minutes unlike being a kid where you would play a terrible game for days because you didnt know any better (or you spent all your allowance and dint have anything else to play!)

Do you mean Sewer Shark for the Sega CD? The Sega CD was a weird system. It had a few gems but it had a ton of 'worst game ever' contenders.

I had a 3do, man that system was terrible. The controllers literally weighed 4-5 pounds each, I have no idea what was inside those things. That system had so many bad games it is much more of a challenge to list the good ones. Star Control II was awesome (the only console version ever put out I think) and The Horde starring Kirk Cameron was actually pretty good.

You're mostly right, but there were some great games too.

Need for Speed and Road Rash were pure awesomeness.
Other games I had fun with:

FIFA International Soccer (came with the Goldstar system but not a bad pack-in!)
Gex
Quarantine
Wing Commander III
PO'ed
Super Street Fighter II Turbo
Samurai Shodown
Space Hulk
Syndicate
Theme Park
Myst

A few of those were available on PC also, but I first played them on the 3DO because this was a year or two before we purchased our first PC.

John Madden Football was supposedly pretty awesome, but I never had it.

I got my 3do as a gift, my mom won it as I recall back when it was 500 bucks. I didnt have madden football either, some games were really hard to find. I had Street Fighter II Turbo and found it funny that it was that version they just redid on the 360 (because it was awesome). Wing Commander III was really good too. I remember I was excited for the M2 add on that never came to be.

Mortal Kombat for the Game Boy, absolutely atrocious game.
On a side note, I will never understand the hatred for Doom 3...

You are a terrible human being.:p I don't think I've played a battlefield game that was surpassed by any other series of FPS games.

The Battlefield games are some of the buggiest pieces of junk ever made. Sure, they are mostly fun, but they are still crap.

Worst game I ever played would have to be Urban Champion for the NES. Terrible game. I wish I had known that before I got it.

deamkiller by far the worst game i have ever played, even being playable for free over the weekend on steam I couldnt even get past the first level it was so bad.

In recent times...Rogue Warrior...Worst game ever? Hmmm, Rogue Warrior. What a POS! Just don't tell Dick I said that.

This is a fact. When everything works right and there are no exploits they are really great games, but Dice really is one of the worst companies about patching their shit in a timely manner. Hell, even if they get a patch out you have to pray it fixes what you need it to fix. I really hope this changes with Bad Company 2 because it's looking really good so far.

COD MW2 single player. Man, that was just awful. The story had me rolling my eyes. The stupid riot shield guys who could take anti-tank round to their shield as if nothing was up but the sky.

I was pretty disappointed with Far Cry 2 aswell.

I never did appreciate Solitaire.

ET was just one game, but WoW has spawned a lifestyle, toys, and brought in the casual gamer. To a degree, its success has doomed innovation. I think it's the worst thing that's happened to PC gaming in decades.

Well said, and I agree with everything on the subject.

My list would have to be......Star Wars: Force commander, WoW, Farcry2, and NFS most wanted.

Virtually every game for the Panasonic 3DO especially the pseudo soft-core porn games like Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. Seriously, Google it.

Also, Ground Zero Texas for the Sega CD was terrible too.

seriously, some of these picks are the WORST games you have EVER played? the WORSTTT games? really? how games have spoiled it's players... haha.

probably one of the worst games i have ever played was Top Gun for nintendo. that game pissed me off more than any other game i have ever played in my life. horrible. i still played the shit out of it though.

I actually like Far Cry 2. It had its faults like the endless driving, the repitition, and the non-realitstic combat. It was the best game I have ever played but it wasnt terrible either.

The most dissappointing (hard to say worst) in recent memory is MW2 for PC. A boring SP shooter and a MP which was a huge step backwards from than the original. I have stopped playing it, and its sequels officially off my "must buy" list. I dont pay $60 (a ridicuous price) for a watered down game, Ill stick to L4D2.
