World's First 'Warp Bubble' Discovered by Serendipity? DARPA Researchers Find it in Strange Encounter

The world's first warp bubble emerged as a recent accidental discovery by DARPA-funded researchers, according to the latest report. The Limitless Space Institute (LS) team led by former NASA warp drive expert Dr. Harold G "Sonny" White has spotted an interesting encounter that could be used by the spacecraft for faster travels. In an interview with The Debrief earlier this week, White said that their serendipitous encounter with the warp bubble is not about it being a bubble analog. The specialist said that it was a real and tiny creation of its kind, making this accidental vision a significant breakthrough... Seemingly, it resembles what we usually see in "Star Trek" movies, but this real-world warp drive could also not require the reduction of exotic matter, according to some physicists.

While this is cool, I can't imagine seeing this technology used in my lifetime.

Interesting, but hard to take anything from Techtimes seriously- all the articles seem to be procedurally generated, and "written by" non english speakers masquerading under "john smith" type american generic name aliases.

I think I'm going to hold out more hope in practical fusion power being here in "10 years"

Isn't this old news? I thought a warp bubble was accidentally created in another experiment a number of years ago.

This is the "world's first" maybe there was another one discovered off world?

here is the article written by a human.

the 'news' here, is that we should now be able to take a repeatable discovery and build a warp drive. but yes, we know warp bubbles exist.
Dont know why but in my mind I'm imagining the neutrino experiment that had them going at FTL speeds, and they kept replicating the experiment with the same results... until they found a loose cable on a sensor and was like "ok yeah they arent FTL anymore"

It was discovered in some device that was being tested, but it was just a tiny blip in the observations so I guess it was written off. This one is more significant since it's supposedly reproduceable.

I recalled something similar and looked it up. 2001, British guy, called it the "Em Drive." NASA tested in 2016 and showed it worked... Which apparently since has been debunked.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EmDrive
The "EM Drive" was simply an idea to get thrust without using propellant, a bit different than the idea of a warp bubble, but then again I'm not quite sure what exactly they saw when they said they "saw" a profile of a warp bubble.

They saw a warped bubble, duh. :p

If this was actually DARPA finding actual FTL we wouldn't be reading about it, the US government would be black booking it into a 'take over the universe' project, not allowing publications. I don't mean that in some 'US bad' shit, it's what any government who discovers this is gonna do.

This is a big deal... but it still a long long way from being something we install on the family space saucer. They used likely a lot of energy to create a nano size bubble. Although it may well be that the amount of energy required is much much lower then first imagined. (which is good as the initial power of a few suns was unlikely to ever be practical.) I assume to create a field large enough to encompass anything not nano sized may still push this to hundreds of years in our future and not the right around the time Fusion comes on line some are hoping for. :)

Then the hopeful part of me says... perhaps the universe really is full of other species, and we simply haven't heard radios or laser transmissions, as species when they get to around our level start to discover that warp bubbles are in fact practical, and why send radio waves or lazors through the cosmos when you can just send a message probe light years away in a few days. :) lol

Please please please let this be true and let this lead to huge advancements in spaceship technology. Humanity won't probably expand to space in my lifetime but I could die in peace knowing that there is a REALISTIC chance of it in the future, to get our species out there instead of getting stagnated and die on this rock to some apocalypse of our own making.

If we're going to die in an apocalypse of our own making, we're going to kill ourselves off regardless of whether or not we spread into the cosmos. I would be far more concerned about things out of our control, i.e. red giant phase of the Sun. An apocalypse of our doing might change life as we know it but does not necessarily mean the end of mankind. I mean, there are billions of us and most of the richer folks have emergency bunkers. Not to mention we are great at adapting to different scenarios once survival is at stake.

I'm pretty sure a conservative 4 billion years is enough to get us FTL tech. Or even interdimensional tech.

I can with confidence say that there are aliens and they're already here. You'll think I'm crazy (I don't blame you) but I'm talking with them telepathically. :p Oh and Jesus is gonna come back soon too! In not so good news that means there will be a war. And the aliens are gonna be a part of that war too. I recommend reading the Book of Revelation, it's only 22 pages long. It describes what is going to happen soon.

"For they are the spirits of devils working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them for the battle of that great Day of God Almighty." Revelation 16:14

Kings of the earth...AND the whole world? Yeah, what could that possibly be if not aliens? Also there is a lot of good footage of ufos on youtube and elsewhere if you search for it.

You have probably heard of the "mark of the beast" too. Without which you cannot buy or sell, and it's gonna be on your forehead or right hand. Guess what they're trying to implement right now? Taking cash out and having us take a microchip in our hand that will be our wallet. Doesn't that sound exactly like the mark of the beast? Yeah we're very close to that. You'll see soon.

Again I don't blame you if you think I'm crazy, if this didn't all happen to me I wouldn't believe myself either. But yeah, you will see soon if I'm correct or not. Just wanted to give a heads up, this is going to be massive for humanity. Jesus & aliens all at once. Peace!

Yeah but after messing up one planet maybe we learn something from it. But then again maybe not.

From the first ideas of someone trying to weaponize FTL speed. How much energy does a rock moving at 10x the speed of light release when the warp bubble that contains it is dropped while inside our atmosphere over a nation we don't like?

Humans messed up the planet?? Hey, it started a long time ago when those stromatilates started pumping oxygen into the atmosphere.

Before those pesky carbon dioxide eating bugs rusted the planet, There was plenty elemental iron for all.

Theyre already using warp tech I gaurantee but we "useless eaters" whom generate all the wealth for the elites by the way, will NEVER see the light of day they are using warp tech. They already more than likely have gravity manipulation drives, possibly even mass altering field effects as well. Thats all they do in 51 and darpa etc... is this kind of stuff 24/7.

McConaughey created this from inside the Tesseract in the future to save present humans from the impending political and climate doom. NASA is already abandoning the ISS -- they must have detected it and is working on secret ark missions.
