I play a few games in a dd and call it usually. Maybe if I had more time I’d find a buddy and div it up. Solo can be frustrating af.

I only have time for a few games a week. I am going to make it a point to get the PEF for free. I think we’ll get it in time for the campaign which has steel...

I've never been effective in the Farragut. The slow, short range torps just never fit my style, and american DD guns.. well let's just say I was never good at horseshoes either :)

This round should at least be more interesting, with the tier change and the new carrier stuff.

Carriers also have the potential to make the game tedious and not fun. We'll have to see how that one rolls.

If you get good at it it’s the best gunboat at the tier and has DFAA. Shinome is also strong and of course the T-61... Jutland on the T-61 is just ridiculous.

Some of the really OP boats I don’t play because they are boring. I need a bit of a challenge.

From, what I've read, it's not worth the fight or the frustration. Wargamming seems to be tendiing to the collector, not the enthusiast these days when it comes to "Premium" ships.

I realize it's a game they can't seem to win. They really should have never started it.

T61 is def more my style. Slightly quicker reload on the guns would not hurt though.

Yeah if I see a T61 I follow it and back it up with my DPM. I might take the Nurnberg tonight if I have time to play. Nurn is an excellent DD support ship.

I was talking about the current ranked sprint. I ranked out in the t61 and it was an atrocious experience. 7v7 sucks a huge amount of ass at tier 6 and to be perfectly frank the save a star system ruins the mode more than any other aspect of ranked. I don't care what they do with it but so long as saving stars is implemented I won't touch it again.

I don't even think about the star as long as the battle is still going. The only time I think about it is if I'm teamed up with 6 Baffoon's and I'm the only one left. Then I'll do my best to not be taken down by an asshat team.

Keeping in mind, of course, that on occasion I AM the Asshat LOL. Hey, we're all human. Well, most of us :)

To be honest, I wish you could turn that shit off. Especially the one's that go on forever in the port when you finish a game.

Here I am trying to work stuff and these god damned boxes keep scrolling up for 2 minutes sometimes.

We need more control over this game :)

I re-installed this game this weekend, already regret it. The PVP is just so bad, super-camp meta is such dynamic gameplay it hurts my brain. I ended up running co-op to harvest all the coal and steel from my 200-odd ships.

Yeah I ran it in coop too. Lets you practice at least.

I take the mindset that I like the potatoes.... winning 1v3 and such are pretty fun too! lol. If everyone was good it’d be more stressful. Like I wouldn’t want a clan battle environment all the time.

Well, I'm ok at PVP. I manage to keep a 65% solo WR anyways.

Yeah I know you’re good. Just saying there are positives.

If you want competence join a good clan and play clan battles, ect. But that’s probably even more campy....

Honestly I think the low tiers are a lot more fun gameplay-wise. Just a bunch of people in a big brawl and you don't die in 30 seconds.

Hos the hell do you get Steel? I never seem to accumulate it and I play the hell out of this game.
 
Ok, Flambass's version of greatest hits.

Yes, he can get loud. Yes, he can get a bit over excited. No, not everyone likes him. Who cares :)

I think the guy is not only one of the better players in the game, but one of the most entertaining. I don't necessarily dislike Flamu, but Flambass is far more entertaining. Sometimes ya just want to see good play without all the technical shit.

FOr the holiday event all the tier 9-10 ships gave it one time I think. Everything below that gave coal. But you can get a bunch from the german battleship missions.

Oh, the pos everyone hates ? I skipped on that because every single review was not good.

I’m not getting tricked into buying shitty premiums any more. The West Virginia was IT for me.
 
I dunno, probably going to uninstall this game again. I really want to like it having been playing since alpha but the PVE is boring and the PVP is so damn cancerous. Its just not fun to play. So many camping top tiers and literally everyone is afraid to engage because of the stupid torp, citadel, and fire mechanics. It seems like somehow people think they'll win if they remain unspotted the longest.

Your in-game name is tied to your real name on the Credit Card used to pay for the subscription. Don't like it? Go play Need for Speed :)

Would it be worth it to buy it to get the missions, and when done sell it for 1/2 of it's purchase price?

You don't have to play the missions IN that miserable POS do you?

If you don't buy the ship I think you miss out on 2000 steel.

I just looked at it again, you get 2000 steel from the mission once you GET the ship, it has 5 stages worth 400. You also get 2000 steel for earning the ship, 500 per each of the 4 tasks. I completed the first 2 without even trying playing only co-op and I'm half way through the 3rd so I doubt it would be hard to do it. If you've been playing already you probably made more progress than you realized.
