I wanted to attempt to add a little value to the awesome MurderMod trend of sleeving . . . .so Geno of Boxgods and I brainstormed and are trying out something a little different . . .
Thanks to Performance PCs for sleeving these cables for me!!!!!!
First, Geno laser cut the parts and sent to me . . .
Getting them all lined up:
Gluing them together:
Ready to go to the drill press:
Test fit (trying a couple type of screws):
Next I will wet sand them (just like lapping a proc) and polish them (they really are BETA right now but I wanted to give you all a taste of what I am working on). They will be screwed to mobo trays and case walls . . .will also have a different version that mount on acrylic rods to suspended wire management . . .as well as complimenting tubing management you will see in an upcoming worklog. RedRaider nags me about crappy wire management so its time to do something. Please keep in mind these are the first shot at this. Next time we will make a separate one the 24 pin connector, one for PCI-E cables, one for EPS cables, and one for everything else instead of having all in one.
