WLAN opinions please

Our company wireless network is a disaster right now. No Passwords, multiple home model wireless routers, no acess levels, different ssids on each router, dead spots, etc. Each of our 6 locations is setup this way.

I am looking at purchasing either the cisco 1040 series or dlink dap-2590 and just start over. Anyone have any opinions on the matter, or should I be looking at something entirely different?

We use a HP Wireless Controller module in our 5400zl switch. The APs are PoE Procurve 220s and 230s. Once the initial config was done, I just plug them in and the controller automatically adopts them. We have multiple SSIDs that dump into different VLANs - it all works pretty well.

Or if you have simpler needs that will grow and scale.

Ubiquit's Unfi units would be a good second choice.... Just make sure you are aware of the firmware bug that effects upgrading. AKA read the posts on their forums before upgrading the firmware.
