Don't want to write a book but our company is thinking of finally moving to AD along with deploying win7 (from novell edir).
Unfortunately I am unable to test the windows policies at this time but trying to as much research as possible...
Obviously we want to push wireless configs via GPO (2008 DCs).
All the documents on the wireless gpo state you can easily push preffered networks and security configs.
Just wondering how these gpos effect personal networks the user may setup, like at home or starbucks.
Would the gpo clear the preffered network list and replace with the gpo set ones?
Would user networks be placed always below the gpo ones?
When I setup networks manually 802.1x worked great until I manually connected to an outside network, win7 put that one on top of the preffered list, then win7 tried to login to AD on that network instead of our work network...
