Did they come out with the wired port for the Wii yet?

I go back to school on the 17th and im bringing my wii. My school does not have wireless access at the dorms. i do NOT want the USB WIFI.. so, what are my options? Are there any or am i going to have to go with the sucky USB WIFI adapter (or atleast i hear its sucky)

Thanks

I use the official usb wifi thing for my Wii and DS and it's not "sucky" at all. Is Nintendo even planning a wired port? They seem to really be all for wifi... wireless fidelity.

There is an ethernet adaptor that is not nintendo-branded selling on newegg that works. I am sure someone can dig up the link, don't have it right now.

I have the Kinamax and its working great. But it looks like NewEgg is now shipping out a different version that doesn't work or substituting a completely different adapter. Hard to say. Multiple reports of people getting the wrong adapter and one guy on the nintendo forum saying it said Kinamax on the package but didnt work. Ayagroup bumped up their price to $28.95, used to be ~$18.

On the other hand I've only seen 1 report of the Airlink working but it is cheaper. I have found other references on the net saying the vendor id and hardware id are indeed the one know to work with the Wii.
