How do I create a shortcut directly to the primary network connection's TCP/IP properties? I want to make it as easy as possible for someone to be able to change his IP address when he travels.

Try Control Panel | Network Connections, right click the connection you're interested in, and select 'Create Shortcut'

I've done that, but it is "not simple enough." :(

If there isn't a way to do this, is there a way to write a batch file that changes his IP address settings? We have static IPs at the office and I assume he wants to go DHCP on the road ...

Thanks ... I created a short netsh script and a batch file to call it, and it does all it needs to do with a simple double-click  That's definitely simple enough for the guy who will be using it :D
