Myself, 25:

Just curious to see what the "norm" is. 25 seems to be the lowest I can get it, although several of those are from Adobe and such. Once I saw it as high as 44

45 on this machine, i'm guessing around 60 on my machine at work

I seriously tweaked my services.

14 on a fresh boot without zone alarm (19 with zone alarm running).

22 on average (trillian, utorrent, and winamp).

31 right now. 35+ when I'm doing some actual work ^_-

40 for me with IRC, opera, stylexp, my virus scanner (adds like 3-4 processes), ati tool etc.. Not too bad. Usually when I play games I keep it around 33-35. I don't really notice a huge difference, it's more of a precation to make sure everything is fine :).

With no irc and no voice chat turned on, I can get like 14 (just the bare bones needed to run windows and do your basic stuff). The real average is 16 or 17. I usually end up with either Firefox or a pc game open, irc and ventrilo

just my normal home pc

44 processes running on my work system right now. I think it's actually off by a couple. It seems there are a couple of processes missing that are usually running.

My home system usually stays around the upper 20's although it will get into the lower 30's if I have more stuff than usual running.
