Windows XP recovery console

I've got a laptop that I need to use the recovery console on but it has XP home and I don't think I have a home edition cd. I've got a XP pro cd will I be able to use the recover conole off that for XP home?

Well I found a program to make a boot cd with and spent a couple of minutes replacing a corrupt file and the problem is fixed .
