The past couple of days I have had four updates for Windows Vista Ultimate that will not install. It gets to about 11% download, then jumps to installing. The updates are:

Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows Vista x64 (KB961260)
Update Rollup for ActiveX Killbits for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB960715)
Cumulative Update for Media Center for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB960544)
Update for Windows Mail Junk E-mail Filter for x64-based Systems [February 2009] (KB905866)

When it is installing, it tries to install the ActiveX Killbits. It fails with an error "Code 8E5E0442"

Thanks.

Thank you, did all of that and it installed three out of the four updates, one still failed. Did a reboot and trying the final one now, it is downloading.
