Windows Update Issues

Not sure if anyone else has experienced the 'problem' but today when I loaded up Windows Update (Vista Ultimate x64) and checked for updates, it said there was an update to Windows Update itself. Anyhow, after that, 7 new updates appeared, though some of them seemed old. Like the Bitlock McThingie, DreamScene and Hold Em Poker (which I had installed before) as well as some seemingly old security updates.

The only thing I think may possibly have caused it is that I installed a language pack last night.

I have had issues with Windows Update reintalling updates I already have. Not sure what causes it, but it does seem to be a common problem from what I have seen.
