i have vista home premium (32 bit)
after the login screen, before the desktop shows, all i get is a black screen for a minute or so where all i can do is move the mouse. it seems like my laptop just stops loading things and decides to take a break, and then after a bit everything seems to be fine.
I dont understand this....loading until the login screen is fine, loading after the black screen is fine. this doesnt happen when i close my laptop and open it up and login again. it only happens after i turn my laptop off and turn it on again.
this has been happening for a while but i have been too busy and its not that much of a problem that i had to address it earlier. i cant tell you what programs i may have installed when this started to happen. All i know is that it shouldnt do this and wasnt like this when i first bought it. Im going on about a year and a half with this laptop and this has only started to happen within the past few months.
I just want to know anything that might be causing this. thank you!
