Hello everyone,

I am seeing the below message in one of my DELL POWER EDGE 2850 server having installed with microsoft windows server 2003 operting system.

The message comes once in a day.Is there any serous thing occuring in server.what do i have to do to remove this message.what is the recovery for this kind of messages.

"The system detected that network adapter Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Network Connection was disconnected from the network, and the adapter's network configuration has been released. If the network adapter was not disconnected, this may indicate that it has malfunctioned. Please contact your vendor for updated drivers."

I believe what you may want to do is:

- Right click on Network Places
- Properties
- Right click on LAN Connection 1
- Properties
- Click on the Configure button
- Power Management Tab
- Uncheck "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power"
