windows problem, please help

Hi guys,

I need some help. I installed a new graphics driver but when I restarted my pc it freezes at the wallpaper (no start button, icons, etc.) Is there anyway you can uninstall the driver I installed? Please help, I don't really want to reinstall windows.

More info is always helpful, especially if you want a detailed answer. However, the first thing I'd try is booting to safe mode and removing the driver.

Might want to give DriverCleaner a try as well... it works.. I haven't had a lot of success removing video drivers manually.. they just seem to embed themselves in ways that make it very difficult to fully get rid of them...

Thanks guys. I didn't think about booting into safe mode. Anyway after I booted into safe mode I did a system restore and it fixed the problem.
