The ESRB has placed a Mature 17+ rating on the Windows PC version of Sunset Overdrive. It earned this rating because of dismemberment, porn references, cursing and drug references. No release date or acknowledgement of existence has been found other than the ESRB rating. Anyone think it is related to the XBOX Game Pass coming to PC?

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has rated the Insomniac Games-developed open-world action adventure game Sunset Overdrive for PC. The new rating follows a PC rating from the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea back in May.

Well, not happy about Microsoft locking the devs into an exclusivity agreement to keep a game OFF Windows for 4 years, but glad it's coming in the end.

I usually enjoy the fuck outta Insomniac games but I couldn't get into this game. Also it was pretty fucking buggy. Still, always nice to see more games come to PC.

Sony Interactive Entertainment published it though, so I don't think we'll ever see it on PC. It's as likely to show up on PC as games like Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War 4. As for Sunset Overdrive, I bet the game is going to be UWP.

Who really cares? This game was so overhyped, people in forums were referring to it as "Sunset Overhype". It was supposed to "save" the Xbox One back in the day...and barely made a dent in sales. The humor was juvenile, and while the gameplay was somewhat fresh, it was fairly repetitive throughout the game. The title came and went from the charts REALLY quickly, and I haven't been hearing many people even ASKING for a port.

To top it all off, it's almost guaranteed to be a UWP app only available in the Windows Store.

I don't think I could pass any harder.
