Windows install taking too long

okay, im making a server with a 750 mh proc and 256 ram, but the windows install is taking a long time. the screen that has been up for the past 25 minutes is just a blue screen with Windows 2000 Setup across the top. its not really doing much. can anyone tell me if this is normal or how i can speed it up/fix it? thanks in advance

the faster the hard drive, the faster the processor, and the faster the cd rom, equals the faster the install. i've learned from experience. i can install xp home in 11 minutes flat. not counting format and partitioning of course.
