"Windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I started getting this message everytime I start my computer up (Vista). I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with the fact that I got a Trojan yesterday and deleted it with Windows Defender. I'm guessing the trojan attached itself to the file that was deleted and now I need to somehow get that file back. Doing some googling showed that most people that got this error message was a result of installing a specific program like Nero or video editing program, I didn't see a solution to the specific problem that I'm facing. Suggestions?
