Im Looking To Install Windows Home Server With Disk Extender The original Server is it still reliable with the bug where it corrupts files or have microsoft fixed it any advice would be apreciated

At this point, just use the 2011 version and pay $20 for Stablebit Drivepool. Upgraded OS and same disk extender functionality. I've been using it for months without any issues.

Ill look that up now what's the specs of your box and what's the speeds like over the network

I use a Z77 MSI board with a Celeron G1610 with onboard Intel network...nothing fancy. Just for kicks transferred a 4GB file and it was transferring at 111 MB/sec on a GbE connection in my house.

You can set it up in drivepool similarly to the drive extender. Just tell the server that you want to duplicate certain folders and it will put them on multiple drives. I suppose it doesn't help if you have multiple drive failures, but it's a home server afterall. I just use it for media streaming and backups.
