Ok, so I'm having this weird problem with Vista ( I searched through the forums and didn't seem to find anything that matches my problem )
So, I write a lot of CD reviews and I was trying to listen to a CD through my DVD rom. I tried playing the CD by clicking my CD rom icon but I got this weird message :
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have
appropriate permissions to access the item."
If I right click and hit explore , it works fine and I can see all the tracks. If I pop in COD4 it autoloads just fine. If I try to burn the CD using CDex, it works just fine. It just seems that clicking on the CD-rom icon won't work. UAC is off and I'm pretty annoyed. I can't remember if this is something new or not since I don't remember the last time I listened to a CD on my computer this way.
Suggestions? thanks in advanced
